The Story

You can feel the exhilaration of the holidays saturating the air. People float by adorning smiles of holiday delight, lovers hold hands, kids skip about. Their eyes glisten in the reflection of the holiday displays. It is such a breathtaking time of year!

Then, out of nowhere, you are hit square in the face! This is quickly followed by a rock solid fist to the sternum. You crumble to the ground as you are hit with the words Stage four Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

In a matter of seconds you tragically shifted from a life of ease and happiness, to a survival mode of sorts. You are now facing the biggest challenge of your life.

If you are reading this, I thank you for joining me on an amazing journey that will amaze and delight you. It is a journey about pride. A pride that I hold deep in my heart. It is a story about belief. A belief deep within ourselves that we can overcome anything. It is about love. A love and respect that I have for an amazing wife, mother and friend.
